jo-anna
Music has always been a faithful companion since i can remember and has always been a solid foundation which gotten me through my most challenging times in life. I started singing in bands while in high school, and never stopped. in 1990 I moved to italy, where I worked as a session vocalist. It was the beginning of electronic dance music movement and i was lucky enough to have recorded many tracks during this time in my life. I also had the PRIVILEGE of singing backing vocals/ touring with for some prominent italian artists and experiencing the most amazing festivals.
Since moving back to the States, I have been in a few great bands, including a b52’s tribute (B-Hive!), where i met and performed with frank, our drummer in sunday girl.
Blondie has always been one of my all-time favorites and i am honored to perform their songs
Founder
lisa
Lisa is brand new to the music scene with a musical résumé, that, until now, consisted mostly of belting out her favorite songs into a hairbrush while getting ready for a Friday night out. A lifelong music lover with a secret wish to sing for real, Sunday girl marks the first true leap into making that dream happen.
With plenty of love, (and a little friendly pushing) from her big sister Joanna, Lisa finally worked up the courage to go for it and she is having an absolute blast! She’s grateful for the incredible new circle of musicians and friends she’s met along the way, and she’s soaking up every moment of this adventure! She also enjoys unwinding with one of her favorite, creative hobbies: figure drawing with charcoal.

megan
Megan started her musical journey at four years old—while most kids were learning the alphabet, she was mastering the ivories. A classically trained pianist, she competed and performed in classical trios before trading concert halls for cover bands and cranking up the keys.
Now with Sunday Girl, she’s proof that you can start with sonatas and end with serious stage presence.

Guitarjon
A Blondie fan from an early age, I was the kid who was repeatedly calling the DJs to play Rapture again. I started playing classical piano at 5, sax at 10, then picked up guitar at 14 and never looked back. I have played in many original and cover bands over the years, and am thrilled to be a part of Sunday Girl.
IN MY SPARE TIME I love baking, and am also an independent software developer. I like to solve little life annoyances with custom apps.
frank
Originally from parts unknown (we're keeping it mysterious), Frank rolled into New England for Berklee College of Music and got stuck like a drumstick in a bass pedal—blame the lobster rolls and endless winters. This high-octane drummer, with energy levels that could power a small city, has bashed beats across Latin rock, country, newgrass (fancy bluegrass for hipsters), classical and original rock.
He kept the rhythm buzzing in B-Hive!, a B-52's tribute band that's all about love shacks and killer hairdos, where he drummed his way into Joanna's heart (or at least her setlist). Together, they birthed Sunday Girl, because who needs Mondays anyway?
Drums
Bill is the rock solid bassist of one of the most rockin' bands around. Solid and steady with a sense of time that challenges a clock.
He learned the basics playing Rock N Roll with friends. Bitten by the music bug, he went on to study theory and composition, playing in small combos and Big Bands.
A versatile musician, he has performed in multiple genres including blues, rock, Jazz, jump and original music projects.
Come out to a show and dance to Bill's fancy grooves.
